ALERT Special Lecture 2021 (28th Sept 2021):

Prof Ha Bui was elected for the prestigious ALERT Spetial Lecture 2021 and will give a talk on “Prediction of granular across scales: from micromechanics to field-scale application” at the Annual Meeting of the Alliance of Laboratories in Europe for Education, Research and Technology (ALERT) “Geomaterials”.


ALERT Doctoral School (28th Sept-1st Oct 2020):

ARC Future Fellowship (29th Jul 2020):

Prof Ha Bui was awarded the most prestigious Future Fellowship Award from the Australian Research Council (ARC) for conducting 4 years extensive research in bridging scales in granular materials:

Prof Bui has been invited to join the Editorial Board of Materials & Design journal (IF4.52), which has been recognised as one of the top journals in the field for its rigorous, high-quality and innovative research

Prof. Cino Viggiana Visited MCG Lab at Monash (22 Feb):

Prof. Viggiana visited the MCG Lab in Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University and gave an inspiring lecture on “3D experimental micromechanics at the grain scale: what for?”

Keynote Speaker at MPM2019 (9 Jan):
